SOUTH LAS VEGAS. The decor is basic and the locations unassuming, but this chain of local sandwich shops has folks returning again and again for scrumptious, hefty lunchtime fare. The secret of its appeal is that the place roasts its own meats, thereby controlling flavor and quality. While cheesesteaks, tuna subs, and meatball selections please, regulars can't get enough of the Bobbie, which unites terrific roasted turkey with cranberry sauce and dressing on a roll. You might have your doubts, but one taste will leave you convinced that it's the best thing since, well, sliced bread.
