EAST OF THE STRIP. With a fair amount of trouble in play, keeping the ball in the fairway is the first step towards a good round on this lengthy course. Both grass and sand bunkers pepper this beautiful layout, collecting errant tee shots and guarding these average sized greens. While the land is mainly flat, strategically placed mounds can occasionally cause uneven lies. Both amateurs and professionals enjoy this outstanding course, which is the host site for the PGA Tour's Las Vegas International tournament.

NORTH LAS VEGAS. Featuring a great layout, this exclusive course is owned by the Mirage Hotel. In excellent condition, these fairways are well guarded by rough and trees. While bunkers are occasionally a factor, water hazards pop up more frequently. Caddies are available and are mandatory if you choose to walk. Bring your photographic memory because cameras are not allowed on this beautiful course.

HENDERSON. With several holes requiring shots to cross canyons, water, and sand, this course looks intimidating. However, the large selection of tees allows players of all abilities to enjoy the excellent course. With relatively wide fairways, carrying the trouble is the major concern. Greens are average in size but relatively quick. Elevation changes are frequent and often provide impressive vistas of beautiful Lake Las Vegas.

WEST OF THE STRIP. This extraordinarily beautiful course is relatively new and one of only three courses worldwide to be co-designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and Robert Trent Jones, Sr. The one-of-a-kind masterpiece is built on rolling terrain and features a number of dramatic elevation changes. It also offers picturesque views of the city and the mountains. Green fees are included in membership fees; members only.

NORTHWEST LAS VEGAS. This stadium course has the typical TPC features with greenside amphitheatres, spectator mounding, and other open viewing areas. In addition, the layout of this desert course is spectacular, and it is extremely long from the tips. There are hazards that come into play as well. In immaculate condition, the fairways wind around the trouble and lead to undulating greens that can be very quick.
