Dim sum, rotisserie chicken, a raw bar, and an assortment of carved meats are just a few of the many tasty options.

WEST OF THE STRIP. Despite the name, this Orleans Hotel buffet serves a wide variety of cuisines, including traditional American, Mongolian, Chinese, Italian, and Mexican, as well as seafood and barbecue. All meals are served every day, but don't miss Sunday brunch, a favorite with hotel guests. Specialties like eggs made-to-order, ribs, and a plethora of desserts satisfy customers and keep them coming back. Get there early to beat the crowds!

NORTHWEST LAS VEGAS. While its name may stir mental images of something less proper than fried won tons and stir-fried vegetables, this restaurant has established itself as a Sin City favorite, thanks to splendid Cantonese cuisine and cozy atmosphere. The menu features traditional favorites ­ Kung Pao chicken, Moo Goo Gai Pan, and the like ­ as well as surprises like their famously seasoned Full Ho Chicken and Lake Tung Ting shrimp. Best of all, prices are more than reasonable.

THE STRIP. Bellagio guests find themselves well-attended-to at this splendid Chinese restaurant, which enjoys spectacular views of the lake and its legendary dancing fountains. Traditional Cantonese, Hunan, and Szechuan dishes are available, and the upscale setting features authentic furniture, handsome table settings, and hand-painted wallpaper. While prices tend to lean toward the expensive, frequent diners submit that few restaurants along the Strip can boast such a fine menu and elegant atmosphere.

DOWNTOWN. The Golden Nugget Hotel dazzles guests with flashy Western-themed decor and attitude, so it's something of a surprise to find that one of its signature restaurants specializes in traditional Cantonese and Szechwan fare. Indeed, Lillie's utilizes the best of the West (Grade-A American beef) to create a feast from the East, complete with fresh lobster and cooked vegetables. Thankfully the restaurant creates a judicious balance between being elegant and casual, making it ideal for families, special occasions, and intimate dinners.
